In addition, we were impressed by how carefully our itinerary was planned and organized. It was designed in such a way that we could see the most significant sights of India, while still having enough time for leisurely walks and exploring.
In Delhi, we were amazed by the grandeur of the Red Fort — this monumental structure caused us a feeling of admiration and surprise. In Rajasthan, we went to Chand Baori, an unusual stepped well that goes deep underground and is considered one of the most remarkable and ancient wells in India. In Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, we had the opportunity to ride elephants in Amber, explore the Jantar Mantar Observatory, the City Palace and the famous Hawa Mahal, known as the "Palace of the Winds". These moments will remain in our memory for the rest of our lives.
At the end of our trip to Northern India, we went to Varanasi, an ancient city located on the banks of the sacred Ganges River. A truly unforgettable experience awaited us.
We took a boat ride along the river and were amazed by the beauty of Ganga Arti, a revered evening ritual that takes place on the banks of the river. This sight plunged us into an atmosphere of awe and wonder.
Another amazing city we visited was Khajuraho. It is known for its intricately carved temples decorated with erotic sculptures.
